“Do you fancy golden sunsets, white sandy beaches and turquoise seas? Tropical landscapes, secluded waterfalls, long hikes, colorful markets and one of the best reggae concerts in the world?” a friend asked me shortly before we set off on our big trip. “What are you talking about?” I wanted to know. “From an island that lies west of Haiti and south of Cuba. I’d like to invite you to one of the most beautiful islands on our planet. To Jamaica!” he says with a laugh, whereupon I look at him as if he’s been given too hot a bath. A few weeks later, he puts his invitation into action and we fly to the Caribbean…
