DVD TRANS-EAST EXPEDITION – Stage 1
Cycling adventure from Lake Constance to the Black Sea
Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Romania

As part of their 40-year expedition “The Great Journey”, a new adventure begins for Tanja and Denis Katzer on Lake Constance. Her route: 15,000 km by bike from Germany to Austria, via Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Siberia and Mongolia.
Tanja & Denis report on the first 3,000 kilometers of their TRANS-EAST EXPEDITION: The two well-known adventurers cycle along the Danube to just before the Black Sea. One of the rainiest summers on record, a serious fall from a bike, life-threatening heavy goods traffic and road thieves, but also the joie de vivre, the indescribable beauty of the varied Danube landscape, ancient culture, architecture and encounters with many lovable people from different ethnic groups make this trip a unique, varied and profound experience.

The image and film material on this DVD is a selection of 3,000 images and 6 hours of film.
