It’s always great to play and chill out with my friend Sam! Sam is a year older than me and gained his experience in his original home country of France. Somehow he ended up in a German animal shelter near us. He found his new home with friends of Tanja & Denis just around the corner from us. “A lottery win” as Sam keeps telling me with a smile on his face. “I’ve already made good progress, now I’ve managed to get on the trip and Denis has arranged a caravan for me. It will even have a roof rack so that Tanja can take something with her,” I tell my good buddy.
Liberté! My dearest, you must remain independent. Freedom is everything and you can only do that with a rucksack, take it from an experienced dog!” And so we start to reminisce about the big wide world. Sam talks about his time in France, street cafés, red wine, cheese and baguettes. There is a hint of lavender in the air, mingling with the smoke of a Gauloise and the conversations of passers-by. But Sam only has eyes for a beautiful mademoiselle, my friend Sam, I will miss him…
