7000 km on foot through Australia’s outback

Book description:
This book is a rarity and only available in limited quantities.

The book may have slight signs of use!

For three years, adventurer Denis Katzer and his wife Tanja traverse the Australian continent under the most difficult conditions – on foot and by camel.

The venture of an expedition through the endless expanses of the outback, those deserted areas inhabited at best by Aborigines, proves to be an almost impracticable undertaking even during the preparations.

Training camel bulls to be used as pack animals, setting up a base camp and confronting the dangers of the Australian bush are at the beginning of their march, which will take them 7000 km on foot through the interior of the country.

Gold prospecting in the Western Australian goldfields and riding wild camels are among her exciting experiences.
However, the kangaroo baby Shiron, who Tanja raises with a bottle, makes up for some of her hardships.

A beautiful and informative illustrated book
which is also exciting to read.
