Watch trailer

The humorous, entertaining, exciting and informative story provides authentic insights into the Europe of today. A captivating report – not just for cyclists!

The first 3,000 kilometers of cycling took Tanja and Denis from Lake Constance to the mighty Danube in Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia and Romania to just before the Black Sea.
The heavily laden bikes weigh 110 and 88 kilograms each – every mountain, no matter how small, piled up in front of the two adventurers as a barrier that could only be overcome with the greatest effort.

One of the rainiest summers in the last 100 years, tick bites, a fall from a bike, life-threatening heavy traffic, injuries, road thieves and the recurring thought of giving up were just some of the unforeseen challenges of the journey so far. But despite all their efforts, Tanja and Denis got to know the cradle of European culture and experience the indescribable beauty of the varied Danube landscape. On their journey, they met many lovely people from different ethnic groups. It was a step into another world, into the world of Romania, whose rural population hardly knows any cars and still travels by horse and cart.
