Construction of our new mobile home


The very next morning I rushed to Stefan Christner and told him about Tanja’s revolutionary idea. We talked for a long time, concretizing the plan of our collaboration with every word…

We actually got down to business at the Abenteuer Allrad trade fair in Bad Kissingen and shortly afterwards signed a contract to buy our new dream on wheels. Although the waiting time for a new bimobil was about one and a half to two years, Stefan Christner’s team immediately started building an EX412. It was to be the first new vehicle in my life. An off-road vehicle that should leave nothing to be desired and guarantee us a safe journey to Southeast Asia.

Stefan poured all his knowledge into putting the off-roader together and, when we had time, we drove to the bimobil headquarters in Oberpframmern behind Munich and marveled at the rapid progress of the Mobilie.
