We reach Ordynskoje a few days after my birthday. It’s Saturday and I make my way to the post office, admittedly full of anticipation. This has proven to be a good and relatively secure way to check and send emails. The lady at the counter puts me off until Monday. I explain to her with firm conviction that it is important to me. I would like to ask you to use your computer today. Suddenly it’s okay and she lets me read and answer our emails until the post office closes. It is always a small celebration to receive letters from home, friends and sponsoring companies. Even from people we don’t even know who follow our travel diary or send us a guestbook entry.
We have received such wonderful, loving and warm messages from different countries: Australia, America, Hong Kong, Spain, Greece, Kazakhstan, Russia, Moldova and Germany. I was thrilled by the tree gifts and we would like to thank you for the growing awareness and the green vein, which is slowly but steadily getting longer. However, we can’t cycle any slower because of the approaching winter. It is now up to you, dear readers, to help with the growth of the green vein to bring it into line with the mileage we have already covered.
