In the evening we arrive at our friend Martin Eickhoff’s (managing director and trainer at pro-medi) and celebrate our successful departure and arrival in Hanover. Over the next four days, we will receive further training from him in what is already his fourth course, so that we can help ourselves in medical emergencies in remote regions of the world. This time Martin has come up with something special, because parts of the course are dedicated to our dog Ajaci. “The algorithm that we use for treating people works in exactly the same way for dogs. This means that everything you’ve learned so far can also be applied to Ajaci. You just need to know a little about the dog’s anatomy,” explains Martin, after which we learn where Ajaci’s arteries are located and so on.
We produced a podcast with Martin about his training.
If you want to know more, have a listen. It is worth it.
