Happy that we spent the last night in the tent in Kazakhstan so well and safely, we cycle towards the Siberian border.

I feel a little wistful at the thought of leaving this country with its endless expanses and steppes. If the eyes don’t bump, the soul takes flight. And yet, in this country we have also learned once again how important it is to have both feet on the ground and to be deeply rooted in our Mother Earth. Experiencing a piece of people’s attitude to life and the chance to have shared a piece of life. Collecting feelings and impressions ourselves and sharing them with people from our culture gives us a deep sense of gratitude and the knowledge that we have lived a special time in Kazakhstan.

We cross the border into Siberia with ease. Siberia welcomes us with a smile and large, dense forests along the road. How only the border between two countries, a narrow strip, can shape the landscape so differently. It’s the same floor.

We look forward to your comments!
