I dance with happiness
Day: 22-23
Perth – 02.06.2000 – 03.06.2000
I take the opportunity of my stay in Perth to make a few phone calls and to write the extensive update of our website. On Friday at noon I call Dr. Molton. “He’s speaking now,” says the secretary. I wait nervously and think about what to do if the result is positive. According to the doctor, I would have to take a break for at least a month to give the wound a chance to heal. “Mr. Katzer!” I hear his voice. “No problem, everything’s fine. It’s early sun damage. Good thing they were there. It could have developed into a cancer. You can continue your expedition. Good luck and always protect yourself with a zinc ointment.” I am relieved, exchange a few more words with him and put the phone down. “Hurray, hurray, hurray!” I shout and dance with happiness, like a little boy.
