Extended rest

Day: 10

Clackline-Camp – 21.05.2000

Although Tanja and I have decided not to receive any friends on our guest day due to exhaustion, we get lots of visitors. We are visited by Tom’s helpful sister and her husband, who is always up for a joke. They help us to treat Sebastian professionally and disinfect his wound again.

As the injury is in an extremely unfavorable place, I am worried about his health. Every time he kneels down, his open knee digs into the ground. Tom reassures me on the phone and says that most camel injuries heal very quickly. Nevertheless, we decide to stay here tomorrow to give Sebastian another day of rest and the weekend flies by and before we know it the days of rest are over.
