After many years of travelling and careful consideration, we set off on our life’s project in 1991: the “Great Journey”. A considerable part of the 50-year expedition is already behind us. Since the beginning, we have covered around 444,000 kilometres without flights on camels, horses, elephants, on foot, motorbikes, bicycles, e-bikes or by conventional means of transport.
