In the morning, the dark clouds have cleared again, but the wind is still blowing. We pack up and set off at 10.40 am. Today, running is not as difficult for me as it has been over the last few days. We all move forward in good spirits. Jafar hardly limps any more. Apparently the medication works. We reach our campsite behind Goomalling at 1 pm. We spend the rest of the day around the campfire and tell each other stories. Of course I am excited to see what the findings with my nose will reveal. I really hope it’s not cancer. Unfortunately, I have to leave our expedition tomorrow for a few days. I am glad that we are still in an inhabited area. With each passing day, such an investigation would be a problem.
