Tuya has decided for the arrival in the world

Today, finally, with beaming sunshine and plus 6 °C it should go to the spring camp. The Tuwa are very actively. Gama and Purvee did bring their reindeers already at around 7:00 o’clock in the morning to the forest to feed. A very good sign because normally they go at approx. 10:00 o’clock in the wood

After I have stowed away the most of our goods in four big sea bags and four courier’s pockets I start to built down the big tent. However, I did not calculate that the tent herrings by the massive night frosts and the often-times everyday thaw as concreted in the ground stick. Desperately I move the first and fail pitifully. I get tongs to own more leverage, however, the tent nails remain absolutely untouched from my action. I consider for a while and have the idea to melt the hooks with cooking water from the ground. Immediately I get our water kettle from the stove.

Gamba already begins with loading his reindeers. “Nevertheless, it can not bee that after the everlasting waiting today the damned tent nails and the not coming Bilgee holds us up to move camp with the Tuwa?”, I rumble in myself. Around 13:00 appear Tanja and Bilgee. “Sorry, we had to catch the horses”, says Tanja with the shoulders twitching. “Bilgee could have done that already today morning”, I answer. “However, he has not made it. What should I say? As well as I had understood him he really did not believe in this departure”, she explains

After more than two hours of heavy work I could pull out the tent nails from the ice. My forces are used up for today. With the last strain I lift the heavy sea bags with Bilgee on the horse backs, while Naraa walks around curiously and to our entertainment looking with her big head in the tepee to see what Tanja does.

Tso who undertakes today also a luggage trip leaves with his reindeers just the camp. Gamba shakes once more a loaded stove flue. At this moment I rise in the saddle. “Look! Naraa!”, shouts Tanja as a greenish flood water comes out of here. “No problem. Dsügeer dsügeer”, (It is okay) says Bilgee. Tanja snaps his arm and leads him to Naraa. She takes her bushy tail aside and a small little piece of a foal is to be seen. Bilgee shouts; “Denis get the camera!” Fascinated we pursue the birth of the newcomer. In the corner of the eye I see how Gamba sets his reindeer train in motion and disappears in the forest. Also this move day is thwarted at the last minute. Bilgee helps Naraa with the birth and pulls the little one carefully on the front legs, he blows it in the ears and nose. It does not move. A fright goes by my limbs. Then, however, a motion and the oversized head turns a little bit like in slow motion. “It lives! We call it Tuya (Arctic light)”, says Tanja quietly. Shaking from cold the little one lies in the snow, while ice-cold wind blows over his wet body. Immediately we get a cover to lay the little one on it. Naraa bends her head to the back and examines what there from her belly has slipped. Immediately she begins her child to lick. Because she is very weak we hope she accepts her baby. After maybe two hours we help the small stallion on the legs. He stands there and sways. Then he falls down. Again we help him to get up. After the third attempt he stands independent, however, for some time. Bilgee leads him to the nipples. Immediately he starts to suck. Because of the cold wind Bilgee and Tanja sew a small coat from sheep fur and put it on Tuya.
