Departure to the last stage

N 49°36'413'' E 100°21'771''

To reduce luggage we give on the day of our departure pieces of equipment like a metal bucket and a big bowl and other little things to Ilchelaugsuren and his family. Equipment which we had purchased for the winter time and Saraa had transported some weeks ago the equipment from Tsagaan Nuur to Mörön. Actually, we had planed to sell our whole household at the market of Mörön. However, the time application stands for such a sales action in no relation to the gained profit. We think it is much cleverer and more sensible to give everything what we no more need to those who treat us well.

Ilchelaugsuren who is since yesterday back from Ulan Bator, is glad about the useful objects. Immediately we are asked in his ger to drink tea. A cousin of him is a monk. By chance just today present. Ilchelaugsuren lights some incense on a little plate. „I bless your trip and pray for your protection says the monk. We thank for the blessing of our trip and Ilchelaugsurens family for the hospitality of the past six weeks. Under a lot of laughter we go for a group photo before the ger.

Even we have already prepared since days for our departure the packing lasts longer than planned. “We own too much luggage”, I groan and do not know where I should stow away everything.

At 13:30 o’clock we have accomplished the miracle and except the shovel have tied our whole equipment on the horses. We decide to leave the shovel to Ilchelaugsuren who just by his motorbike goes past around to Mörön. “Many thanks.”

Tuya our foal who is glad apparently uncontrollably about going on soon behaves like a maniac. He jumps at Tenger so that he gets with his heavy load over and over again in stumbling. As obsessed he bites continually in the legs, the tail of the other horses and in the sea bags. “If this goes on like that he roughs up the whole team of horses!”, I say. Tanja laughs even the little one definitively goes much to far.
Just five hours later we discover in juicy, green valley a small brook. Not far beside a ger we built up our tent in the middle of gigantic goat heard. “25 kilometers, not bad at all for the first day,” I say on my GPS looking. “In spite of constantly sliding load”, believes Tanja also contently. „This becomes better from tomorrow. I will shorten the belly straps of Shargas, Tengers and Bors saddles. The new saddles sit too laxly „, I find out.

The tent is just built up we get visit. Tanja offers tea and a few sweets to the friendly Mongols. “Is there in this area a problem with horse thieves?” It interests me. “No, here not”, means the shepherd. “This is very good”, answers Tanja.
