We even enjoyed the early night shifts to protect the horses from theft.<\/p>\n\n<p>The weeks at the Bilgee Camp were very special. The first days of yurt life. The time to get to know Bilgee as a marmot hunter. The way Mongolians kill their sheep and goats by cutting into their bodies below the breastbone with their hands to tear out the main artery. The peculiar smells of Mongolian cuisine, but also the experience of almost being driven to extinction by a targeted attack from the initially highly aggressive chariot horse Sharga, are etched in my brain.<\/p>\n\n<p>On the other hand, Bilgee arranged a birthday party for Tanja. The wine and cake which he exchanged for one of his marmot skins and how happy Tanja was about the surprise. Before we set off, bacteria stretched me out.
